After the people-packed parks of Orlando, the quaint, Southern town of Charleston was a welcome change of pace. We were there for less than 24 hours, but I immediately fell into the blase, at-ease attitude of the city's inhabitants.
"We must go beyond textbooks, go out into the bypaths and untrodden depths of the wilderness and travel and explore and tell the world the glories of our journey."
